When Reed Ryan was first born, he was very stiff in the neck and had trouble turning his head towards the right side. The doctor examined him and said that he had torticollis, a very stiff neck syndrome developed during his time in the womb. As a result, Reed favored laying on one side of the back of his head throughout infancy and thus developed plagiocephaly, characterized by a large flat spot on the under side of his head. His parents were worried, they tried to do everything that they could. But with the help of specialists, Reed began the journey to reshape his noggin' with a “cranial band” (AKA helmet,) just as many kids do these days.
Along with his dog Lollyberry, a Cardigan Welsh Corgi and his partner in shenanigans, Reed shares daily adventures as big as his imagination can take him in a tale that teaches children that they can be anything they want to be.
Reed's tales are told alongside his loving family. Characters include his sister and other partner in adventure, Paige, his supportive father, and his loving mother, who wrote the book for her son.
